  DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY! Visited the hotel over the Easter break. What a joke this place is! The room was TEENY TINY, the decor hasn't been updated since 1960 (honestly the walls were all chipped, ceiling light had dust all over it), the tiny window that allowed any light or view into the room was locked shut so there was NO natural air in the room. I didn't sleep the entire evening because the pipes through the building were so loud whenever another room used water. For over $400 a night I would have genuinely preferred to stay in a 2 star motel. We booked for two nights and asked to leave after the first night due to not sleeping and being so disappointed but were rudely told we wouldn't be able to refund the second night. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY AT THIS DUMP!!!!!!

  This big old Hotel has been through some changes over the years. This trip I found the food and service was outstanding. They also had very modern conference facilities in the ballroom. Overall it was a very good experience.

  It is a magnificent building with breathtaking views. Its service and management really lets it down. They have a parking lot which always seems to be full of cars from passers by and they make guests park on the highway. The man on concierge was arrogant and snubed suggestions that there were adjoining rooms in the hotel which we new there was from our prevoius stay. The bar is ridiculously expensive. The food was great but lacked options for children.

  Pavilion lacked the views associated with the hydro. Staff also made it feel like a large multinational soul less enterprise. It would be very hard to recommend a visit as there are many more authentic venues to get a snack on the upper mountains.
