  Ordered hot chips for 20 teenagers over the phone and told the staff I wanted to pick them up in 20 minutes. Rocked up 20 minutes later and waited in line for 10 minutes so no problems at this stage. Get up to the counter and tell him my name and what I ordered over the phone. He knows the order but its not ready. I wait for 40 minutes and realise that he hasn't even started my order. That take about 10 minutes to cook 1 batch of chips so I estimate that I'm going to be waiting another 40 minutes and walk out. I was not informed over the phone that my order would be over 1.5 hours. Another lady had been waiting for 1.5 hours and was still waiting when I left. Lots of other people were complaining as well. Not sure why they were so slow they only had 2 staff on, which for a Sunday lunch is pretty bad. There might have been something wrong with their equipment to make the chips because they seemed ridiculously slow at cooking them. The staff on duty may have been caretakers while the regulars where on holidays or it has been newly taken over as I can't see how they have ever received a review above 2/5

  DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY! Visited the hotel over the Easter break. What a joke this place is! The room was TEENY TINY, the decor hasn't been updated since 1960 (honestly the walls were all chipped, ceiling light had dust all over it), the tiny window that allowed any light or view into the room was locked shut so there was NO natural air in the room. I didn't sleep the entire evening because the pipes through the building were so loud whenever another room used water. For over $400 a night I would have genuinely preferred to stay in a 2 star motel. We booked for two nights and asked to leave after the first night due to not sleeping and being so disappointed but were rudely told we wouldn't be able to refund the second night. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY AT THIS DUMP!!!!!!

  This big old Hotel has been through some changes over the years. This trip I found the food and service was outstanding. They also had very modern conference facilities in the ballroom. Overall it was a very good experience.
